All that being said, there was a very informative article from The Horse Ezine. They said the confirmed cases have now reached the double digets - less than twenty confirmed cases. So not very many, and mostly in the western states. You can click on the article below to learn more:

I am currently treating a horse from Ogden with neuro signs. I have consulted with several of my ACVIM colleagues, including Maureen Long at Florida State (who has probably treated as many of these cases as anyone), and have followed all the discussion on the ACVIM list serve.
