Subject: Bolting and belligerence

~~~ I have had REGN for almost 11-12 yrs. She has started seeing things on
trail or she thinks she does. I cannot imagine that she would make this up
due to alpha/belligerence stuff. Is this really something people have
experienced. After 12 yrs? She is still awesome on trail but i have noticed
she spooks more. I was feeling more like she was lacking confidence in me,
maybe due to taking lessons? Or maybe her eyes are changing, she is only 15
though. I am going to go out today and ride the same trails as yesterday.
Don't get me wrong we are not talking "turn and burn" but it is different
behavior for her. When she does spook it seems a bunny will be making noise
or lizards ( ya know how scary those can be, ha). It is concerning me. It is
weird though, just in the past few months.
Her and i have a fantastic relationship, we have never had any kind of
battles or been in a situation where her confidence in me has lacked. We
have done tons of trailriding, camping. She is really a perfect girl. I hope
she is not seeing " dead pickles".
