Hi Les, My name is Bonnie and I am the stable manager for a therapy center in CA. Do you have any idea if either of your horses would be suited to that job? Therapy horses need to be sound, tolerant, calm, and not have a big spook response. We currently have two fjords and we love them. Our horses get the best care imaginable. I need to go into the hospital and I don't want to leave my wife to have to take care of the horses. The gelding is 11years old and has been broke to drive single and has some experience in a pair. He is also been green broke to ride but not very much as we are drivers. Because of our situation, we are asking only $1500 for him even though we feel he is worth more. He is a very willing boy and ready to go. Our mare, the geldings full sister, is 12 years old and has had one foal before we stopped having foals and she was a good mother. She was broke to ride and green broke to drive and is very willing. Again, because of our situation, we are asking only $1500 for her. Both these horses are about 14.2, These horses are ready to go and would make someone else great horses.
