When traditional fuses being used for
overcurrent protection,they only can protect one time,once being
blown out they must be replaced,but the PTC resettable fuses
as the new type overcurrent protection products have the
double fountions of overcurrent protection and automatic
restoration.
Our PTC resetable fuse is serially
connected in the circuit,under normal circumstances it presents low
resistence state and can ensure the normal work of the circuit.In
case of occuring short circuit or unsually high current,the heat in
the fuse is strong enough to make its impendance increasing to limit
current very low,so playing the role for protecting the
circuit.After fixing the fault,PTC element will automatically
return to its low resistance state.
Compared to the traditional fuse,PTC
prossesses the advantages of resettable,little volume and
solidness.
