Hi all,

I'm the developer of flactag, a utility that downloads data from the
MusicBrainz service and writes it to VORBIS comments in a FLAC file.

I've had a couple of reports from users that they are seeing failures when
writing comments to a FLAC file when the comments contain accented
characters. However, when I try this, it works just fine.

So far, the main difference I've noticed is that one of them is using
libflac++ 1.1.2, and I'm on v1.1.1 (the version included with Debian
Stable).

Is the later version more strict as to what it will accept in the contents
of a tag? Is there something else anyone can suggest?

Thanks

Andy
