Security Alert When Playing Flash Locally To: Flashcoders Submissions <flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed This alert pops up when I use I.E. to locally play the html and .swf that Flash publishes: "! Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly. OK" If I put this on a web server, it plays fine. It also works locally in Netscape 4.71. Is this a result of security restrictions in Flash 8? If so, how do I override them? thanks, Marc ------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders End of Flashcoders Digest, Vol 9, Issue 31 ****************************************** _______________________________________________ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders
