Currently there is no way to access the component definition properties through JSFL. But please go and request this for this on the macromedia site. The more people request this the more likely we are to see it in flash 9

I'm writing a script which will turn a textfield into a component and need to have an Inspectable property. Failing this is there another way I can get a value into the clip?
