Hi Which of the MovieClipLoader events are you using ?I ask only because I've had similar problems with the class in Flash 8. I did a bit of digging and found this.
http://www.betriebsraum.de/blog/downloads/ http://www.betriebsraum.de/external_data/downloads/QueueLoader/QueueLoad er.zip It offers far great flexibility - and proper queuing of assets. It might be a better solution to your problem than tackling the caching problem. I have a swf that loads additions swf's with a MovieClipLoader object. The first time I hit the page it works fine. On subsequent tries when the external swf's have been cached in the browser they are not getting recognized as being loaded by the MCLoader object. Is not an issue with Flash7. Anybody here know anything about this? _______________________________________________ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders _______________________________________________ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders
