I can't for the life of me remember if I've done this before, and if I had problems with it in the past.
Can you programatically fade a dynamic text field, for example with tf._alpha = 50? Here's a sample file. I tried applying the fade to both the text field and the containing MC. No luck. http://www.halestorm.co.uk/test2.fla If you can't, can any one think of a work around? The text field I'm using will have a black background. Maybe changing the colour of the text out will give the same effect. Only thing wrong with that is the colours are chosen by the user. Thoughts anyone? Thanks.
