coding it in as a string doesn't seem to work.. EX:: var s:String = "<root><someParent><someChildItem><name><![CDATA[SOME DATA]]></name></somechildItem>" + "<someChildItem><![CDATA[SOME DATA]]></someChildItem>"+ "<someChildItem><![CDATA[SOME DATA]]></someChildItem>"+ "<someChildItem><![CDATA[SOME DATA]]></someChildItem>"+ "<someChildItem><![CDATA[SOME DATA]]></someChildItem>"+ "<someChildItem><![CDATA[SOME DATA]]></someChildItem>"+ "</someParent></root>";
