Normally as a workaround to reference the main timeline from within a class, I 
first define a global scope in the main timeline like this:

_global.root=this;

And then simply reference the timeline with 'root'.

I'm sure there must be a better way that doesn't involve use of 
_globals...anyone have a 'best practice' to share?
