Normally as a workaround to reference the main timeline from within a class, I first define a global scope in the main timeline like this:
_global.root=this; And then simply reference the timeline with 'root'. I'm sure there must be a better way that doesn't involve use of _globals...anyone have a 'best practice' to share?
