I just made an application with V2 coponent and it turned out to be too heavy. A V2 combobox adds 40KB to my application(correct me if I am wrong here). I have tried using Mx components for Flash Mx 2004, but I found out that they don't generate an event but a callback though I have able to reduce the size of my application using Mx components.
