Yes I did check the html and the color is correct there (#993333)... but as a workaround I will add a layer to insure the movie appears the same in each browser. I am surprised that flash would behave in such a manner - re-loading the adobe flash player did not make any difference and the problem looked the same on both my, and my client's computers. If anyone can think of the cause of this problem I would really appreciate your thoughts on it....
