Hi, I was researching streaming server solutions for publishing video/audio... Here is my list:
*Flash Media Interactive Server 3* <http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/> Or *Adobe Flash Media Streaming Server 3* <http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediastreaming/> *WOWZA* <http://www.wowzamedia.com/> *Red5* <http://osflash.org/red5> Questions: 1. If $$ were not a factor, and you were looking for an easy way to host/stream short (30 second to 10 minute) video/audio clips, which of the above options would you choose? 2. Suggestions for other options not listed above? 3. Any recommendations for third-party streaming video players that would work well with the above listed server solutions? 4. What level of AS3/Flash experience should one have when dealing with these services? These next two questions are specific to the two Adobe products: 5. Does either Adobe product come fully packaged (i.e. video players/skins/other...)? 6. Once FMS is installed, how easy is it to publish video? Thanks for the help, I greatly appreciate it. :) Have a great day, Cheers, M _______________________________________________ Flashcoders mailing list [email protected] http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders
