I have a MovieClip with a text input component on top of a white box with grey border. In order to get the text inside of the Text Input component to be able to fade in and out I had to set the entire movie clip to blend mode layer. After doing this, when I click on the text input field the text cursor does not show up, and the highlight color of the text is white, everything is white actually. I'm wondering if there is a way to get this back to the default highlight color, or if there is another way to fade in and out the text input, the actual text input fades out but not the text inside if I don't set it to layer. Thank you!
