For 2d I would assume a xor for the solid object created by a shape
created by the displacement of object1 in the next frame and the object1
in the current frame to detect if a collision occurs between it and
object2?
For 3d spherical subdivision mixed with 6 sided bitmap xor in the same
respect? Or would this be too expensive cycle wise?
