Instead of using a MC the size of the stage, you may want to try listening like -
this.root.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER, overHandler) and this.stage.addEventListener(Event.MOUSE_LEAVE, offHandler); _ _ _ Erik Mattheis Senior Web Developer Minneapolis T 952 346 6610 C 612 377 2272 Weber Shandwick Advocacy starts here. When the swf is launched, I would like to have a MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER with a function to gotoAnd Play frame 2. Also I would like to have a MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT with a function to gotoAndSop on frame 1. I have added a mc the size of my file and used it as a button. I can get the ROLL_OVER to work, but not the ROLL_OUT. I hope this is not to vague. Can anyone help.
