Maybe close Flash IDE and edit the workspace layout file - for CS5 / Win
it's in here - whichever workspace you are using, look in the XML file
and see if you can change the panel height, etc.
C:\Documents and Settings\##USERNAME##\Local Settings\Application
Data\Adobe\Flash CS5\en_US\Configuration\Workspace
