Thanks to W1HKJ's efforts the modified Hamlib-1.2.12S works perfect with my
Kenwood TS-590S.
When you open up the Hamlib rig selector, you will note support for several
rigs that were not supported in the previous Hamlib-1.2.12 release. I hope the
backends for the newly supported rigs work as well as the new backend for the
TS-590S.
FYI, I use the direct USB interface with the Hamlib option for PTT via Hamlib
command. I no longer own a SignaLink USB so I was not able to test the Serial
port interface.
It is nice to know the Kenwood TS-590S is supported by both RigCAT and Hamlib.
