AFAIK the traditional codecs (at least the ones on that page) are fixed
interval. However, I believe I’ve seen variable intervals and packet sizes for
Skype and FaceTime packets in packet traces. I need to verify this. Interval
distributions would be a pretty significant change, but it’s in my “possibly”
list for irtt…
