Sorry for double post. Just to better illustrate the case, there's this
famous story about Churchill:

During the Second World War, Winston Churchill’s finance minister said
Britain should cut arts funding to support the war effort. Churchill’s
response: “Then what are we fighting for?”

Same with running programs in Wine: well, maybe it is possible, but it
ultimately defies the reason of running the said programs on Linux. Same
well you could say that programs written for KDE are crossplatform because
it is possible to install KDE on most major operating systems...
