You are correct, 2.2. is miss-spelled and should be 3.3. We checked the FAQ and found that it is only possible to switch the FDK if flexmojos-testing is disabled. If the FDK switch to version 3.3.x is done in our flex application pom and we add flexmojos-testing as dependencies our FDK settings are overwritten. The reason might be flexmojos-parent in which the FDK (in this case 3.2.x) version is hardcoded. But, as you said, with flexmojos 3.1 everything will be better.
