I am developing a flex application capable of generating pdfs from individual flex charts in a given workspace using Alive pdf. In the pdf, right now am placing the chart in custom position(predefined absolute position) But I need to now move the datagrid above the chart so the user gets to look at the values first and then the chart The datagrid values are not hard coded but dynamic values varying from chart to chart. What i need to know is how to calculate the x and y position values for the chart to be positioned in the pdf below a dynamic datagrid.
