Expos2 Inc. is looking for a Flex Architech/Developer to work in our Hyderabad office. Flex developer that will be responsible for developing front-end (User Interface) applications software for highly complex computer systems or portions of large integrated systems. This position includes translation of designs into software, development of code, documentation, and software testing. This position may also include the modification of software, fixing software “bugs” in existing code, and troubleshooting issues on production and test systems. Duties will also include software test (automated and manual), design, documentation, test data acquisition and analysis, test results analysis, and reporting.

Candidates with all levels of experiences will be considered from graduate through to Senior Developer. - Flash Builder 4.0/Flex builder 3.0 - Action Script 3.0, MXML - Flex frameworks like Pure MVC, Cairngorm etc. - AIR 1.5/AIR 2.0, Flash media services - Developing application using the PHP, FLEX architectural pattern - Developing Flash platform applications using Flex SDK - Design the Flex UI - Working on an application using the PHP, FLEX architectural pattern - integration with backend layer using Flex Data Services With help of Java/PHP team Job Summary Verifies that product operates as designed. Provides technical expertise in testing and product knowledge. Provides accurate estimates and reports of test progress. Writes Test Procedures, and under direction, Test Plans. Essential Functions • Tests software releases during the product development. • Reports test results and enters problems and issues into the bug database. Monitors and updates bug reports as needed including bug report closure. • Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing. • Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments. • Writes or assists in the development of test plans and test procedures. • Completes assigned test-related tasks. • Manages the defect database under the guidance of senior QA engineers. • Assists in the automation of relevant test procedures. • Assists in review of test processes as they are developed. Expectations • Demonstrates the ability to analyze a problem and complete detailed reports. • Able to methodically produce the steps which exhibit bugs in the product and be able to reproduce and communicate these steps. • Shows initiative in gaining in-depth experience in areas of technology relevant to testing of company products. • Shows initiative in gaining theoretical knowledge in software testing. • Works well in a team environment and alone. • Has ability to adapt to the changing needs of a project. • Has ability to meet deadlines. • Has strong communication skills, both in writing and orally. • English: Can read and write well enough to be able to communicate with peer QA and Development engineers regarding software defects Qualifications • Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant experience. • Sufficient knowledge/experience working with Microsoft or Linux/UNIX- based operating system(s) • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. • Operating System: MAC/Windows • Familiarity with testing methodologies and the defect reporting process.
