Ah, that answers my question. Knowing this I took another look in
the crontab.5 man page:
Note: The day of a command's execution can be specified by
two fields -- day of month, and day of week. If both
fields are restricted (ie, aren't *), the command will be
run when either field matches the current time.
Stupid cron :-/
Please add to the FAQ why "0 3 1-7 * 7 flexbackup -set all" doesn't
do the expected thing.
