Nice looking site, the images are very professional and the simple
navigation is a refreshing change to some of the Flash navbars I have had to
endure. Design though is subjective and not really the focus of most
applications, not in the same way as usability is important. I just happen to
like the color green :)
As
much praise as I have for the design I can't understand why the site is Flex
based (Sorry Simon :S ). Shell has some valid points about the accessibility,
bookmarking and speed of Flex in this 'app'. I think the subject of unique URLs
for each page is of particular importance also because people who want this
kind of equipment tend to share the information they find and might need to pass
a URL to another person? I also feel that you are losing out on a potential market of Googlers who will possibly not find your content/products because your
pages aren't accessible. AFAIK Google can see the equivalent linx user,
there seems to be alot of content/keywords in your site that will never be seen
by search engines. Unless you have done something clever that is not
apparent?

Hi Flexcoders,I think that its great that James has posted a link to his Flex site. I also think that some of the negative comments and feedback about the site are just going to put off other people from posting links to their sites here. How about posting some POSITIVE feedback to James and help the collective encouragement here.I think everyone responds much better to POSITIVE than negative - eh?Simon-----Original Message-----I want to thank everyone on this list for all the help over the past few
