Can you try to regenerate the SWC component or have the person who created it do this? It seems there is some basic problem with the component (as this error only occurs when there is an IOException). Another thing you can do is to set "-Dtrace.error" in the JVM configuration for your appserver (on JRun, this is in bin/jvm.config). This will give you the stack trace, which may help us figure out what went wrong. -Brian
