I had a quick look at the swf converter that was suggested, but the way flex works is that the chart is drawn at runtime from data provided by a remote object, so there will not be a swf file with the displayed chart in it. The only swf file availabe is the original swf generated by flex.
I like the ability of Flex in producing charts, with dynamic data and parameters. I know it sounds corny, but maybe the user can take a snapshot of the screen, edit the image to isolate the graph and then save for later use. I take the point about using something more suitable than a jpeg file. Andrew Yahoo!
