[flexcoders] SmartCard/eToken with AIR Application?

I would like to use an eToken (USB smartcard) for the client
authentication in an SSL handshake as part of an AIR application. 
Anybody know if this is even possible? 

Presumably the easiest route would be to use the baked in WebKit...
