Also... when architecting a solution over research what approach will work end-to-end. Just because you are using rest in everything else... doesn¹t mean that it is the¹ candidate for the next project. If rest is beings pushed on you leverage project costing to your advantage... tell management that it will take 5x longer to implement... when they ask why shoot straight and don¹t compromise on the timeline. I have to echo Josh the status code problem is a long standing issue. If you don¹t know what you are up against...
