I'm thinking of a component that will display a number (or more generally, a string) with a graphic around/under it. Rather than centering the string, I think I'd prefer to size the component to enclose the string. However, the aspect ratio of the image must be preserved.
Any opinions on the best approach, either using existing components or writing a new one? Thanks.
