I think the key here is that we make sure that if the type is Ifactory we'll generate the ClassReference which in turn will make sure the class in linked in. if you just pass the string and we don't do our magic you run the risk of the class not being linked. This is only sometimes a prob obviously, but can be subtle and annoying.
