Classes from a child SWF that are also in the main app are not used. The main app's version are instead, so if both SWFs have the same name you could have a problem like that. See my blog presentations on Modules for an explanation of applicationDomains.

When I try to load the swf that I created, it loads (I get all the events, similar to the one working) but instead of displaying the child swf, it displays another instance of the parent application where the child should be! The app I'm testing with is the example in the Flex 3 documentation. It just contain a simple Label to confirm that the app was loaded.
