Maybe a crossdomain policy issue?

I have developed a flex app accessing the data through webservices developed in C# .NET. webservices and my flex app reside in two different boxes. and webservices are not available for outside public. Everthing is working fine within the network. But when I access in production it is not able to load the WSDL.
