Yes I second it. Corlon's all AMF tutorials are working perfectly. I agree there are some hitches even if you follow character by character. Some googling and minor changes are essential to make them work on one's computer depending on how it's configured But those are great resource to start with and my experience is those give you a very good start. I am also beginner in flex and PHP and I found those to be most useful in development of our pilot project with Flex->AMFPHP/ZendAMF->ADOdb->firebird. The project is almost in finishing stage within 20 to 30 days. We are using Birt->PHP for reporting and Flex->PHP for UI and data collection.
