WebService will really be a reference to
mx.servicetags.Service but you should be able to use it to make calls.

Subject: [flexcoders] reference to
a webservice object
Is it possible to pass a
reference to your webservice object, if you
create the object in mxml?
For instance, I tried the following:
<WebService id="mySvc".../>
In AS code:
someObj.setRefToWS (mySvc);
But I've found that mySvc is actually a ServiceTag
object, & not a
WebService object...so when I try to make
webservice calls in someObj
with its local reference to mySvc, it doesn't
work.
Is it possible to do this? Thanks...
