if your trying to edit a cell directly (by clicking on the cell) on
your datagrid, use the cellEdit event. this gets triggered if you
make changes in an editable datagrid
eg
<mx:DataGrid cellEdit="doCellEdit(event)" editable="true">
import mx.events.DataGridEvent;
function doCellEdit(event:DataGridEvent):Void
{
//do something.
}
