I saw it happening in mxml(code that used to work in 1.5) if the "calling" component is not in the root, and uses namespace that is in a different folder.

Sure. After reading the documentation, I believe as long as you set
the namespace to what they specify and insert the actual component
into your code, that's all you need. There have been some significant
syntax changes in the component tags, so I am thinking that is
possibly why I am having some trouble.
