yes, you should be able to use the -theme option to specify the haloclassic.swc file:   mxmlc -theme=c:/flexdeploy/frameworks/themes/haloclassic.swc -file-specs c:/myfiles/flex2/events/MultipleButtons.mxml   hth,   Matthew J.
