OK, but we recommend implementing IUID because non-dynamic objects are
larger and slower than dynamic ones. It could be as simple as
public class ItemVO {
public var name : String;
public var type : String;
public function get uid():String { return name; }
public function set uid(value:String):void { name = value; }
}
if the name field uniquely identifies an item.
