maybe you can create a view from your query, then use it to build the stuffs from the magical wizard tool? 


Now...to steal your thread a wee bit ;)   is this tool scriptable yet?  Looking at the plugin stuff, its just a bunch of Java classes......so...my guess is that it could be scriptable, eh?  Will that code be open?
