The only way for to do it for IE is to have trusted
activeX on the first page - then you can hide "parent" window by moving it
outside of the display area - not aware about similar solution for other
browsers.

Am having a mxml file which upon running tat application should hide the

As far as I
know, it's not possible in the same page. You can't hijack the user's
browsing experience by removing the toolbar, status bar, etc., without the
user's permission (and thank god for that).
