[flexcoders] How can I use the Stream Class in a flex application ?

it's my first week with Flex, I'm developing a such client that must
be able to send to a server a sound recorded by the user ...
I'm using Flex and Flash Server for that.
I want to instantiate the class Stream in my script(in the mxml file),
but in the compilation I had this message "The class 'Stream' could
not be loaded."
I didn't understand why I can use the NetStream class and not the
Stream one..
if there is someone who can explain me how can I solve my problem I
will be very grateful.
