It's not out-of-the-box in Flex 2 but you can easily write a singleton-alike class that stores the references to your WebService instances and access it from anywhere in your application. The Cairngorm framework uses this approach for its ServiceLocator class.   Dirk. Kind of like a global config for them so they can easily be reused.
