Okay, I loved Flash MX 2004 for building RIAs. It was fun. But the more complex my apps got the more it sucked because code got lost all over the place.
I never did Flex before Flex 2, but I gotta say.. I freakin' love it. all my code in nice pretty TEXT files.... and in the most recent app I "converted", the flex app SWF is bigger, but it runs *WAY* faster than the old flash mx 2004 app. And just about everything is easier. I had no idea how to make it so when a user hit "enter" that something specific would happen.. and flex 2 has that nice defaultButton thing on the containers. Super easy. Same with transitions and such. I love it. I wanna do lots more Flex now =) rick -- Flexcoders Mailing List FAQ: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/files/flexcodersFAQ.txt Search Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexcoders%40yahoogroups.com Yahoo!
