code: [Bindable] public var columnHeaders:String; public function sendColumnNames():void { var columns:Array = dgTodo.columns; var headers:String = ""; for each (var c:DataGridColumn in columns) { headers += c.headerText + "\t"; } columnHeaders = headers; reqTodos.send(alldone); } model: <mx:Model id="alldone"> <root> <action>alldone</action> <alldone>{columnHeaders}</alldone> </root> </mx:Model> On Aug 21, 2006, at 4:24 PM, kwdowicz wrote: > How to send DataGrids Columns as POST variable in case this method ?: > > dgTodo is instance of DataGrid > reqTodos is instance of HTTPService > > <mx:Model id="alldone"> > <root> > <action>alldone</action> > <alldone>{dgTodo.columns}</alldone> > </root> > </mx:Model> > > reqTodos.send(alldone); > > in my $_POST variables i have only names of Columns objects . > > Please help, i'm new to Flex2 and ActionScript > > > > > > > -- > Flexcoders Mailing List > FAQ: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/files/flexcodersFAQ.txt > Search Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexcoders% > 40yahoogroups.com > Yahoo!
