Please tell us more about yourself? The more we know the better we can be at providing assistance.
For instance:
- Do you have a web application server? (e.g. J2EE, ColdFusion, PHP, etc.)
- What type of database are you trying to connect to? (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Access, etc.)
- Are you working in a team? If so does your team have a
designated DBA (database administrator)? Is here a designated
webmaster?
- What is your programming background?
Just so you know, just about everybody here at FlexCoders *IS* connecting "to database through Flex". So the question is not IF, it is just a matter when you are going to get your configuration working :-)
The sample files are all available but vary between databases and application servers.
