Is it really that hard to just pay for a server or a virtual server and install it yourself?
You can get decent virtual dedicated servers for like $60/month. It's not hard at all to install fds when you have root access to a server. Makes me think I should just do it and sell it as a service. --Kelly -----Original Message----- From: flexcoders@yahoogroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Douglas McCarroll Sent: Wednesday, September 20, 2006 1:14 PM To: flexcoders@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [flexcoders] Flex 2.0 Hosting ( Cheap / Inexpensive ) I've checked with CFDynamics. They say "Unfortunately, at this time, an ETA is unavailable." It seems to me that it would be in Adobe's interests to do whatever it can to facilitate making FDS hosting available. A friend of mine thinks that he may be able to help me out, but I'm sure that there are a lot of people out there with no options for deploying FDS apps at this point... I'm not talking about full-scale enterprise hosting - just an Express FDS equivalent... Matt Chotin wrote: > > Yes, CFDynamics has been considering it.
