times and way out of date.

i'll see if i can get the page updated to display useful information. apologies 
in the meantime to anyone who visits the page.

The .exe means this is probably a Windows executable.
You want just 'mxmlc'.

By 'flex folder' do you mean the SDK (the thing that contains mxmlc) ?
In which case, no - you do all the compile locally to make a .swf file, and
then just upload this one file to a web site like an normal file (unless you
are using FDS or remoteing).
