I dont believe there is any way currently other than FB to get syntax highlighting though I think that someone can probably do that pretty easily. I would think code completion code hinting and syntax checking in the editor would be fairly valuable and much harder too. IMHO these things hardly qualify as "hand holding" unless you have the entire flex framework memorized and you never make mistakes.
